Garden Views
This poor apple mint is very tough. I purchased it two years ago and left it untended until the following year. I noticed a small leaf on the otherwise dead looking plant so I plopped it into a planting bowl with some chives and other miscellanea. It didn't appear to do much last summer but this spring it sprang up in several spots in the bowl. It must have been working on its roots all along. I guess that means I probably shouldn't plant it out in the open unless I want my whole garden full of mint!
